The customer can return the vehicle to the original location, or any other Intrago site located conveniently throughout the surrounding area.

For system operators, proprietary Intrago software tracks vehicle locations and status, and logs the rental period for each user. In rental models, the software also processes payment of rental fees (rates and periods are determined by each operator).

Intrago's customer-focused vehicles provide ultimate flexibility. If necessary, a vehicle can be charged from any electrical outlet, via the built in charge cord. A vehicle can also electrically lock to itself when there is not a station nearby.

Intrago systems can operate with one or hundreds of stations, with stations being capable of handling in excess of 200 vehicles each.

Ideal for commuter solutions, this system consists of one or more stations located at a transit link.  In the morning commuters use vehicles to get from the transit link to their place of work, reversing the process at the end of the day.  Vehicles would also be available to others for on-demand round trip rentals. The process repeats each workday.

This system allows for on-demand, one-way rentals. A sufficient station density is needed for this configuration, which enables a user to begin a rental at any station, and to return the vehicle to any station. Intrago software makes it easy for system operators to manage occasional system rebalancing, the redistribution of vehicles among stations.

Regardless of system configuration, Intrago harnesses the power of the Internet to provide real-time vehicle availability information to its user community. Planned upgrades and enhancements include the ability to reserve a vehicle for future use, and the ability to hold a currently available vehicle, both via the Internet.
